A voice shaped by poetry, theatre and truth.
Iwona Loranc made her artistic debut in 1999. In 2002, she won the Grand Prix at Przegląd Piosenki Aktorskiej in Wrocław and the Grand Prix at Studencki Festiwal Piosenki in Kraków.
She has sung Leśmian’s poetry and rediscovered songs by Tom Waits, Marek Grechuta, Ewa Demarczyk, Maria Koterbska and Ludmiła Jakubczak. Her discography comprises eight albums and recording projects.
Whatever the scale, Iwona’s singing begins with a word and ends in a genuine meeting with the listener.
